No. We welcome complete beginners right through to advanced speakers. Your free placement test determines the right group level, so your first lesson starts at exactly the right place for you.
We offer evening group classes (Tue & Thu, 17:30–19:30, 12-week packs), one-to-one private sessions (in-person or online), and intensive immersion courses. Group classes are capped at 10 students for maximum interaction time with your instructor.
Most students reach A2 (basic conversation — travel, social situations) within one 12-week evening course. B1 (independent user — work and complex conversations) typically takes two to three courses. Private lessons can significantly accelerate this.
Yes. All Berlitz Spanish instructors are certified native speakers who bring authentic pronunciation, natural idiom, and real cultural context to every class. You absorb the language as it is actually spoken, not as it appears in textbooks.
Yes, at any point. Many students combine evening group classes with occasional private one-to-one sessions for specific goals — a job interview, a trip to Spain or Latin America, an exam. Your advisor will recommend the right mix for your situation.
Classes take place at our Tottenham Court Road centre, Zone 1, directly accessible from Tottenham Court Road Tube (Central and Northern lines). Online options are also available if you prefer to learn from home.
